Chan Appetit is a foodie, hailing from Queens Ny. My deep interest in food is rooted from my family. Family time was a reason to cook, eat, and bond. From a young age I have watched my grandparents, parents, and aunt flow so smoothly around the kitchen while creating dishes that would appeal to the pickiest eaters’ pallet. We always find a way to connect through food. Growing up my grandmother whom was born and raised in Charleston SC and then migrated to Harlem NY did not have much but she always made sure that everyone around her was well fed
